Below is a list of the standard asphalt products we produce. We also offer custom mixes tailored to your project specifications, and our facility can operate 24/7 to meet customer demands.
Marshall Mixes
1/4″ Rice - A blacktop mix used as a wearing course in which the material can be placed thinner than a normal ID2 Wearing mix due to the size of the aggregate used in the mix. |
BCBC - A blacktop mix used as a base course for roads, parking lots, and driveways. |
FJ-1 - A sand-based mix used for patching or fixing small cracks. |
ID2 Binder - A blacktop mix similar to the BCBC mix, except it contains a higher percentage of liquid asphalt in the mix. This mix can be used as a base course for roads, parking lots, and driveways. |
ID2 Wearing - A blacktop mix used as a wearing course for roads, parking lots, and driveways. |
ID3 Wearing - A blacktop mix similar to the ID2 Wearing mix, except it has a larger aggregate in the mix and a smaller percentage of asphalt liquid. This mix can be used as a wearing course for roads, parking lots, and driveways with heavier traffic counts or loads. |
Other Products/Services
Cold Patch- This cold asphalt mix is designed for temporary pothole repairs and is available at select locations only. |
Millings- This recycled product is made from asphalt that has been removed from its original application and crushed into various sizes. It is available only at select locations. |
Porous Pavings- This blacktop mix is designed to allow water to pass through and disperse into the stone base beneath the surface. It is available only at select locations. |
Tipping Fees - Select locations accept millings or broken-up asphalt for a tipping fee. Please call ahead to confirm the current fees, as they are subject to change. |
SuperPave Mixes
SuperPave mixes are available in many ESAL counts and produced with PG64-22 Liquid Asphalt. Most mixes are available at all of our locations.
Options such as PG76-22 Liquid Asphalt and wearing courses with an SRL-rating of “H” or “E” are available upon request and with advance notice.
12.5 MM - Penn-DOT approved mix - A blacktop mix typically used as a wearing course for roads with heavier traffic counts or loads. |
19 MM - Penn-DOT approved mix - A blacktop mix used as a binder course that goes between the base and wearing courses on highway and road projects. The mix is similar to the ID3 Wearing mix. |
25 MM - Penn-DOT approved mix - A blacktop mix similar to an ID2 Binder that can be used as a base for roads, parking lots, and driveways. |
9.5 MM - Penn-DOT approved mix - A blacktop mix that is similar to an ID2 Binder and can be used as a base for roads, parking lots, and driveways. |
